MEET THE LLA FAMILY
Miss Debbie is extremely passionate about children and early childhood education. She is committed to continued learning herself, and earned a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Master's Degree in Child Development and Curriculum Planning and Instruction. Debbie is pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership in efforts to advocate for high quality and accessible early childhood education for children and their families. She celebrates all students and is a positive force! She guides and develops staff, leads school operations and develops the curriculum, and also is a leader, mentor, peacemaker and all-around supporter of students and parents alike. FUN FACT: She loves Disney World and has visited over 20 times!
Miss Donna has been teaching pre-kindergarten for over 30 years. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education and has experience in all facets of the childcare field. Donna has an uplifting and supportive personality that inspires greatness. Her focus in the classroom is to support and encourage children to love learning. She is passionate about the field of ECE and is amazing at finding each child's unique learning style. FUN FACT: She is Miss Debbie's sister and loves dragonflies!
Miss Katelyn has been with LLA for over 4 years and is excited to lead the Blue Room, our youngest learners. She is a graduate of Collingswood High School and is pursuing her degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Miss Katelyn is also lovingly known as Miss Pippin. Her sweet and loving personality allow her to shine here at LLA. FUN FACT: She's been to over 50 concerts!
Miss Colleen leads our newest classroom of Pre-K students. She comes to us with 8 years of special education experience and an additional 4 years of teaching Pre-K. Her warm smile and calm demeanor, plus a fun loving attitude just a few of her awesome attributes. Miss Colleen is mom to a teenage daughter. FUN FACT: Miss Colleen is also a personal trainer!
Miss Andrea has been with LLA since it's start in 2009, and has worked with children for 20 years. She is a mother of three and is passionate about helping children learn and discover their own strengths. Andrea's focus in in the pre-k classrooms guiding the curriculum, activities and events. Her creativity, silliness and warm heart help children love to play and learn together. FUN FACT: She is a HUGE Dave Matthews Band fan!
Miss Cilla has been with LLA since 2011 and is our Purple Room Lead Teacher, our 3 year old learners. She is a mother to Patrick and brings a positive demeanor, encouraging spirit and patience to the classroom. Miss Cilla has worked with our 3 year old and pre-k students and loves to teach learning concepts from math to handwriting to reading through art and sensory play. As children discover and learn, Cilla is certain to help them celebrate their successes. FUN FACT: She refinishes kitchen cabinets as The Painting Duo!
Miss Dee has been a teacher for over 8 years and is a mother to three now-grown boys. Her fun demeanor and supportive nature is so comforting to her students. She loves watching and encouraging children to achieve new things and works so perfectly alongside Miss Donna in our red room. FUN FACT: Miss Dee's dream trip is an adventure to Ireland.
Miss Amanda has joined LLA as a lead teacher in our toddler room with over 8 years of teaching experience working with children ranging in ages from preschool to 5th grade. She holds both a Liberal Studies and Psychology Degree. She is dedicated to supporting learning, exploring, and FUN for our youngest learners. Amanda is the proud mom with one daughter. Her passion and love for education shine through! FUN FACT: She loves hiking and growing her own tomatoes.

Creativity, energy, encouragement and warm hearts are hallmarks of all of our assistant teachers! All of our assistant teachers share a love of children and sincere joy in helping our students learn and grow, and each brings their own unique strengths to complement the lead teachers. All of our staff continues to work toward education and professional development to deliver all they can to our LLA families and their communities.
